KromataGons is a puzzle game. Each puzzle consists of multi-colored, polygon-shaped puzzle pieces that are arranged into rows and columns. The object of each puzzle is to clear all its rows and columns until only a single piece remains.
Each puzzle piece displays an indicator mark which rotates along with the puzzle piece. In addition, every piece in the puzzle belongs to a designated color group. Whenever a puzzle piece of a given color group is touched, all other puzzle pieces in the same color group rotate in response, while the touched puzzle pieces own color group is transitioned to a new color group.
An individual piece is solved whenever the indicator line on its face points directly upward (i.e., at a 90-degree angle to the horizontal; think of the 12 o clock position on the face of a clock).
An entire row or column is solved whenever:
1) all its member pieces are solved, and
2) all its member pieces belong to the same color group.
As soon as a row or column is solved, it is dropped from the puzzle, reducing the size of the remaining puzzle to be solved. When only a single puzzle piece remains, the puzzle is solved, and a larger, more difficult puzzle is automatically presented to the user.
KromataGons includes a built-in Tutorial suite which explains how to play.
In order to present progressively larger puzzles to the user, the app retains a local history of solved puzzles directly on the device, which the user can clear at any time by following the Reset flow from the main menu.
